The Power of Choice
I heard Oprah say, “Right now you are one choice away from a new beginning.”
Stop and think about how powerful that idea can be in your life and with your team. What are you unhappy with? Where did you not get the results you expected? Your destiny is made up of millions of little choices, and to make the proper choices you need to be clear about your direction.
You probably have people on your team who are succeeding and some who are struggling. I would guess that this is in direct proportion to the choices they make each day. Take a look at your team members who are succeeding. Think about their daily choices (and how they could be duplicated throughout your team). Do they choose to -
* work when it’s time to work?
* make sales calls?
* give sales presentations?
* listen and empower people?
* be a team player?
* be a great communicator?
* create healthy team competition?
* support the efforts of fellow team members?
If not, remember Oprah’s words—you are always one choice away from a new beginning. Choose wisely.
